Statuses

Use statuses in Revo to track issue progress and completion stages. Create custom statuses in team settings to keep work organized and transparent.

Statuses in Revo represent the current state or stage of completion of an issue. They give your team clear visibility into progress and make it easier to track work across projects and cycles.

Why Use Statuses?

  • Track progress – instantly see where each issue stands.

  • Improve transparency – keep everyone aligned on what’s in progress, blocked, or completed.

  • Support workflows – align statuses with your team’s sprint or project management process.

  • Customizable – define statuses that reflect how your team actually works.

Common Examples of Statuses

  • To Do – work has not yet started.

  • In Progress – work is being actively addressed.

  • Blocked – work is paused due to a dependency or blocker.

  • Done – work is complete and ready for review or delivery.

How to create statuses:

  1. Go to team settings by clicking on the name of your team at the top of the left side menu, then click on team settings

  2. Click on statuses on the left side menu

Statuses can be updated or refined anytime as your process evolves, ensuring they stay relevant to your team’s way of working.
