This section covers the most common questions and issues users encounter when using Revo. If something doesn’t work as expected, or you’re not sure how to get the most out of a feature, you’ll likely find your answer here.
Great question! Revo is your product teammate, and there’s no need to learn everything at once. Here’s a simple way to get going:
Connect your stack (e.g. Jira, Notion, Google Calendar, Slack)
Create a couple of focused Contexts like “PRD Writing” or “Weekly Sync”
Use the “Ask Revo” button to get help tailored to your current task
You'll discover more as you go. Revo grows with you.
Great results come from a great setup! To get the most accurate and helpful responses from Revo:
Make sure you're in the right
Connect relevant data sources like Jira, Notion, or user feedback
Ask focused, specific questions
💡 Tip: If something feels off, try rephrasing or switching Contexts—Revo quickly adapts and improves with every interaction!
Q: How do I set up a great Context?
A strong Context helps Revo stay aligned with your goals. Include:
A clear name (like “Onboarding Flow”)
A short focus description
Linked docs, folders, or systems
System notes for tone, tools, or style preferences
This gives Revo everything it needs to work smarter for you.
Q: How can I turn my exploration (user stories, screenshots, etc.) into a full PRD?
Here’s how to do it:
Create a context for early exploration (e.g. “User Flows – Employee Termination”)
Use Revo to explore flows, generate recos, and user stories
Then switch to a “PRD Writing” context
Revo can take your earlier inputs, continue working in the background, and notify you in your Inbox once the PRD is ready
Q: Can Revo recognize names accurately in transcripts?
Yes—and it’s getting even better! While occasional quirks can happen with AI transcription, Revo is continually improving name recognition. We’ve added smarter context awareness and custom aliasing so it consistently knows who’s who—even in fast-paced conversations.
Q: Can Revo convert meetings into issues or follow-ups automatically?
Yes! Revo can:
Transcribe meetings
Generate summaries
Extract action items
Turn them into assigned issues or Slack messages
Draft follow up emails
Q: Can I upload a Figma screenshot and ask Revo to describe or spec it?
Yes—using the Revo browser extension, you can screenshot any design, webpage, or UI, and ask Revo to generate:
Descriptions
Product specs
User stories
QA checklists
Q: Can I trigger Revo to analyze a screenshot and generate feedback or a spec?
Absolutely. Just take a screenshot with the browser extension and ask Revo to analyze it. It will combine what’s in the image with your current Context and internal knowledge (personas, docs, feedback, etc.).
Q: Can I use Claude instead of GPT?
Yes. You can choose between different AI providers like OpenAI (GPT), Anthropic (Claude), or Mistral per workspace or per Context.
Q: Can I test different models on the same use case?
Yes. Some users prefer GPT-4 for generation-heavy tasks, Claude for summarization, or Mistral for speed. You can A/B test different models inside Revo.
Q: What gets sent to each model? Is my data safe?
Revo only sends what’s needed to fulfill your request. Your data (e.g. Notion pages, Jira templates, feedback) stays internal to your Revo workspace and is never used for training by any model provider. We enforce strict privacy boundaries.
Q: How can I get better answers from Revo?
Be clear, specific, and structured in your prompt. For example:
✅ “Summarize the top 3 complaints in the "onboarding 2025" folder.”
🚫 “What do users say?” You’ll also get better results when you refer to specific docs, folders, or product areas
Q: How do I know if I’m in the right context?
If Revo’s answers seem too generic, check the context name at the top of your chat window. If you're working on something different than what that context was designed for, switch to a more relevant one—or create a new one.
Q: What should I write in the “Instructions” field when setting up a context
Use it to guide Revo's behavior. For example:
Define Revo’s role: “You are a senior PM creating PRDs for internal tools.”
Set structure: “Use the format: Title, Problem, Goals, User Stories.”
Link relevant inputs: “Refer to the ‘Q2 Personas’ folder when needed.”
Q: How can I improve Revo’s responses if they’re not quite what I expected
Revo learns from context and adapts to your needs—so here are a few ways to get even better results:
Rephrase your question for clarity
Start a fresh thread for a clean slate
Switch or refine your Context
Double-check that key data (like Jira, feedback, or docs) is connected
Each small tweak helps Revo better understand and support your workflow!
Q: Can I ask multi-step questions?
Yes—but complex requests work best when broken into steps. Instead of: “Write a PRD and summarize all feedback in one go,” Try:
“Summarize the top feedback themes for Feature X.”
“Now write a PRD using that insight.”
