Slack/Microsoft Teams Integration

PreviousMeetingsNextPersonal Instructions

Last updated 1 month ago

Invite Revo to Slack or Microsoft Teams and collaborate with it just like any other team member—right where your conversations are already happening. By bringing Revo into your workspace, you can ask questions, delegate tasks, generate documents, summarize threads, and surface insights without leaving the channel. This allows Revo to interact in your existing messaging workflows.

How to add Revo to Slack/Microsoft Teams?

You need to connect Slack/Microsoft Teams to your Revo space first, then you can chat with it in Slack/Microsoft Teams.

How to connect Slack/Microsoft Teams:

  1. Click on the team name at the top of the left side panel

  2. Click on team settings in the dropdown

  3. Click on connectors in the left side menu

  4. Click the Connect button within the Slack/Microsoft Teams card and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection process

  5. Select the Slack/Microsoft Teams channels you want to connect to Revo

If you have already connected Slack to Revo but haven't invited Revo to a particular channel yet, you can invite it by simply mentioning @Revo, pressing enter, and accepting the invitation prompt.

  • Revo cannot retrieve conversations from Slack that occurred before the integration was set up

  • Revo can only access channels it has been explicitly invited to. It won't join private channels unless you invite it, and it cannot be added to direct messages

  • For security purposes, Revo can only access public Slack channels and does not have access to private channels

Use Cases

  • Ask Revo to create a ticket for you from Slack and assign it to the right person

  • Ask Revo for progress updates

  • Ask Revo to summarize conversations in the channel

  • Get notifications in Slack when a ticket is created or a meeting is booked

  • Get task reminders in Slack
